SEPTEMBER 2004 NEWS:

New 2005 range product details. 5 confirmed effects. Sadly no elaborate mechanical plastic tricks we have grown to love from the Tenyo guys.

Matchbox seems to involve sponge doves which possibly appear and disappear from the matchbox.

Poodle was first shown to me by a friend of mine in UK. Beads are formed into a poodle shaped dog which suddenly barks.

Sponge Balls seems to involve a purse frame and has the balls transform into different shapes a la Growing Ball.

Scratch Card is the creation of a French magician I believe and was first shown at the last FISM. 4 freely named numbers are printed on a scratchcard under the silver scratchoff squares.

Rising Card appears to be the standard rising deck but it will no doubt have Tenyo's improved touch to it.

Tenyo Catalogues

Every year, Tenyo release a catalogue promoting their new

range of magic which they launch each year.

Below are a small selection...

Seven Tenyo Catalogues

The Mysterious Tenyo Zone

There are a number of Tenyo tricks between T-48 and T-65 which remain a mystery.

As in the case of the MELTING LOOP below, the box is marked as T-54,

but the instructions have T-64 printed on them.

Can this error be the reason of the missing Tenyo numbers? What do you think?

If you have some Tenyo magic lurking at the back of your cupboad which fall into this

mysterious Tenyo range, then do please let me know.

However, two in the range have already emerged.

For the first time anywhere on the web, read about it here...

Melting Loop Melting Loop Box

T-54 MELTING LOOP by Hideo Kato

(although instructions have T-64 printed on them)

This effect consists of the magician tieing a knot

in a length of rope. When the ends

are pulled, the knot

disappears.

Fantastic

T-62 FANTASTIC by Hiroshi Sawa

(also printed as T-53 on some boxes)

It is a matchbox effect involving a colour changing

matchbox sleeve. You take a match and strike

it and light the illustrated candles on

the box. You now show printed

flames on the box which

change colour three

times.
