The Queen of Hearts seems suspended in space. Common sense says it is held by a wire. But we see nothing except the hand of a magician holding the invisible corner of the card. How can the pendulum swing back and forth freely behind the card if it is supported from behind? Impossible! Has a portion of the pendulum been removed? If so, the bottom would fall into the base of the clock.
